I have an HP all-in-one printer and I want to add another printer that takes cheaper ink.
But I want to keep the HP hooked up too for scanning and making copies. I do not use the fax.
I use Windows XP and am on cable setup for internet.

I bought an hp all-in-one (printer/scanner/fac/copier) and use the ADF to scan a stack of images at a time. I’m scanning at 600dpi and it seems quite slow. I use to use my traditional flatbed scanner, which connected with USB and it seems faster…
So is wireless scanning (where it sends the scans to your pc through the air) slower than if it is connected with the supplied USB cable?

I have windows XP and when i tried to download HP All In One Printer J4540 it says that my current operating system:Windows XP is not supported.And said that the only Systems they support is Windows 7.And i specifically remember on the box of the printer it saying it supports Windows Xp.So whats up.?

i have a hp all in one, scanner, printer, fax, copier, and scanner printer model c7280.
everytime i try to scan or copy something, it suddenly ives me a error message syaing i need to re cycle hte power and such, turn it on and off. the scanner wont scan. i here it moving for a few seconds, then it stops and i get a stupid error message,
i need it ASAP
any suggestions?

I know faxes are almost a thing of the past but I still would like be able to send a fax every now and again by hooking it up to the phone line and faxing. It is an HP all in one……Thanks alot
