I am going to be attending college in the fall, and I have decided that I am going to bring a printer along with me. I would prefer a multifunction printer that is also wireless. I would like it to have cheaper ink, and I don’t want to pay more than for it. I have done a lot of research, but I don’t know what the best option would be. If anyone has a printer or knows of a printer that may be a good option to me, please let me know. Thanks!

So we just got in a new Panasonic DP-8035 multifunction printer/copier/scanner/fax. It does just about everything but butter your toast (allegedly). Problem is we got it mainly for printing from the network, and it won’t print.
We’ve set it up as per the instructions, and configured the IP address, mask, and gateway to the same settings as the old printer. It pings on the network just fine, and the driver on the print server is correct, however we’re getting this error, "PC Data Cannot Complete".
Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?

I’m looking into purchasing a moderately priced (0-350..maybe a little more) multifunction printer. I’m doing my research first this time around! Could anyone recommend a multifunction printer that has the best compatibility with the Apple Airport Extreme base station and possibly have all functions supported. If not, just printing will do. I’m interested in a printer with a auto doc feeder, preferably, beyond that I’m not picky. I really don’t need the photo perfect printing with memory card readers and the pretty display… just cut and dry office multi function. If anyone knows of any I would absolutely love the input. Thank you!

Ok. I just got my multifunction printer with Fax. I have a phone line but that is a VOIP phone through provider – SunRocket. Not sure if I can use the fax over a VOIP phone…anyone ever did that ?

I was thinking of getting the Dell Wireless All-In-One Printer 966 or the Brother Network-Ready Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner/ Fax/ PhotoCapture Center. But I dont know which one is better. Can you tell me what you think of the two printers, and if you have one can you tell me your review about how easy, hard, it is, and the problems. I want one that is wireless for my Dell XPS M1710, and one that it good for printing, coping, and scanning, and I will use it for small buisness, so also a fax machine. Right now whenever I want to scan and fax, I have to disconnect my phone line and plug it into the computer which is attached to the printer. Everyone who calls get the fax sound and I cannot get messages. I want to be able to get a fax and also get voice messages. What is the best way to do this–get a multifunction printer with the external fax or a message center fax/phone?
