I need to get a all-in-one printer/scanner/copier, but from the info I’ve already heard some can be pretty expensive to run and some unreliable. I know they can be bought pretty cheap now, but I’m reluctant to go with HP, as my computer is HP/Compaq and to be brutally honest HP Technical Support are unbelievably dumb/stupid and incompetent?? I was going to buy a Brother?

Why can't I configure my Canon multifunction printer's usb port to work with windows xp home?

I own a brand new canon mp130 printer/scanner and have had it for over a year and a half. I have not been able to configure it correctly since I purchased it. My original warranty is expired, I have tried to download the drivers from both the orginal cd software as well as trying directly from the canonusa website.
There is some kind of usb conflict that I have been trying to understand and I am at my wit’s end trying to do it. Seems ashame to throw this beautiful looking machine in the trash, but it is as good as a heavy paper weight. The reason I bought it was because their cameras are so well made and user friendly. I will NEVER buy another of their printers however. I’ve tried all the configurations Canon has in their support and installed, reinstalled both the drivers and the software on so many occassions I could do it blindfolded.Does anyone know what I might be missing here?

How can I get my printer/scanner software back?

I think I may have accidentally uninstalled something that enables me to install my printer/scanner/copier onto my computer. Everytime I’ve tried it, it’ll finish installing and then tell me ‘Software installation incomplete’ and when I try to install it, again it tells me I have to uninstall it first. Uninstall it? It told me it wasn’t installed. I haven’t made a back-up disc, yet… What can I do to get my printer to install on my computer?

Comparison on these two All in One printers from someone knowledgeable?
My boss sent me an HP PSC 1510 All-in-One today. I also have a Deskjet F4140 All-In-One that was recently given to me. Which one is newer? Ink is about the same. Can either be used with my computer (Dell)?
I would appreciate any advice – I know nothing about these!
I tried the website. I couldn’t find anything out on them other than the cost of the ink.
